Call out fee

€60

Waived on every repair we carry out, so if you go ahead it costs you nothing. It only applies if the repair doesn’t happen, whether the device turns out to be beyond economical repair or you decide not to proceed once you know the cost. You’re never charged twice, and we’re never out of pocket for a wasted journey.

Everything people ask before booking

Yes, in the van outside. It’s a full workbench with power, lighting, microscope and diagnostic equipment, and it handles laptops and consoles as easily as phones. Most repairs are finished and handed back within the hour.

No. Hand it over, go back to what you were doing, and we’ll knock when it’s ready. You’re welcome to watch if you’d rather.

Most screen and battery replacements take 30 to 60 minutes at your door. Board level repairs are different. Those go back to our lab and can take up to two weeks. We’ll always tell you which one you’re looking at before we start, never after.

Because it’s diagnostic work, not a part swap. It means tracing a fault to an individual component on the circuit board under a microscope, and often ordering a specific part in. It’s the work most shops won’t attempt, which is why they tell you a device is beyond repair. We’d rather take the time and save it.

You pay the €60 call out fee and nothing else. That covers coming to you and the time spent diagnosing. It’s waived entirely if the repair goes ahead. We’ll always give you the price before we start work, so you’re deciding with the full picture.

Because we come to you rather than you coming to us. A shop can glance at your device between other jobs at no real cost to them. We drive out, park up and give you our full attention for as long as the job takes. The fee covers that, and it disappears the moment you decide to go ahead.

Premium and OEM only. We don’t use the cheap replacement parts that are the reason so many repairs fail a few months later. We’ll tell you exactly what’s going into your device before we fit it, and you can watch it go in.

12 months on the part we fitted and the work we did. It doesn’t cover new accidental damage, liquid damage occurring after the repair, or an unrelated fault elsewhere in the device. Full warranty terms here.

We don’t access your personal content. Most repairs don’t require your passcode at all. Where testing needs one, you enter it yourself and we’d recommend changing it afterwards. We never copy, store or browse anything on your device, and none of it ever appears on camera.

Always sensible, and we recommend it. Screen and battery work doesn’t touch your data, but no repair is completely risk free.

Every doorstep repair. They go up on our YouTube and TikTok channels so you can watch your own job back. We film the bench, the tools and the device, never your screen contents, your home or anything identifying. If you’d prefer we didn’t film yours, tell us when we arrive and that’s the end of it.

Board level and lab repairs are the exception. That work happens in stages over days, sometimes waiting on a part, so it doesn’t make a single video. Instead we’ll send you progress photos and a written summary of what we found and what we did. You still see the work, just not as a video.

Somewhere to park nearby and about an hour. That’s it. We bring our own power and everything else.

Yes, and a lot of our work is exactly that. Car park, loading bay, reception, wherever suits. We can work through several devices in one visit.

Yes. If you’re outside our call out area, or the job is board level work that’s going to the lab anyway, you can post the device to us. Get in touch first so we can confirm the fault and give you the address and instructions. We’ll repair it and post it back, with the same 12 month warranty.

We cover all of Limerick city and county, plus Shannon, Ennis and Nenagh. If you’re outside that, ask anyway. We travel further for larger jobs and business accounts.
